Prof. Sivakumar brings over 25 years of global IT leadership and consulting experience to Muthoot Business School, uniquely positioning him to prepare students for the demands of the global business environment. His extensive onsite experience across the US, Europe, the Middle East, and ASEAN regions ensures his insights are grounded in diverse international business contexts.

Currently a Research Scholar in Marketing Management at IIM Indore, he is in the final phase of his doctoral journey. His academic foundation includes an MBA from IIM Kozhikode, supporting a strong blend of theoretical knowledge and practitioner expertise. Prof. Sivakumar’s research lies at the intersection of marketing, technology, and organizational buying behavior. He is particularly interested in how digital tools and social media reshape decision-making in complex B2B purchase environments. He holds globally recognized certifications including PMP, PMI-ACP, and CRM & CPQ, and has delivered training sessions for professionals in project management and CRM consulting.

 

A passionate educator and lifelong learner, Prof. Sivakumar is deeply committed to fostering an engaging learning environment where theoretical concepts meet practical applications. He has a proven track record of professional achievements, including establishing an offshore delivery center, scaling practices, and pioneering innovative resource management strategies for top-tier firms like EY, Oracle, Accenture, and EDS. Recognized for his strategic acumen, Prof. Sivakumar also served as a Board Member and Vice President (Marketing) for the Project Management Institute (PMI) Kerala Chapter.

 

With a strong passion for knowledge-sharing and academic mentorship, Prof. Sivakumar's teaching interests span a wide range of areas such as Organizational Behavior, B2B Sales and IT Selling, CRM, Services Marketing, Strategic Management, and Project Management. He integrates digital transformation trends with contemporary business practices, and his commitment to experiential learning and outcome-based education continues to inspire innovative teaching strategies.
