Cherepovets State University (ChSU), established in 1996, is a prominent public higher education institution located in Cherepovets, Vologda Oblast, Russia. Serving as the only classical university in the Vologda region, ChSU has become a central hub for education, research, and culture in Northwestern Russia.

The university offers over 60 bachelor's and master's programs across various disciplines, including engineering, natural sciences, humanities, social sciences, and education. Notable programs include Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Metallurgy, Psychology, Law, and Design.
