The University Business Academy in Novi Sad is the first privately accredited university in the Vojvodina region of Serbia. Founded in 2000, the university was established to educate professionals in economics and law during a period of significant national reconstruction. Its mission is to integrate international and domestic practices into a cohesive body of knowledge, preparing students for the challenges of today's economic and social environment.
UBANS has established itself as a globally connected institution, joining networks like the Compostela Group of Universities and Businet. It actively participates in European Union-funded programs such as Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, and Jean Monnet modules. The university's internationalization efforts include student and staff mobility, joint research projects, and the development of dual education programs in collaboration with institutions in Albania and Georgia.
In 2024, UBANS was honored with the title of "Champion of Quality" at the 19th International Education Fair "Putokazi" in Novi Sad. Additionally, several of its faculties received the Great Gold Medal of the Novi Sad Fair, underscoring the university's commitment to excellence in education.
